Ephesus tour with pick up from cruise terminal
Reviewed April 20, 2015
Tugrul, with a welcoming smile, met us at the Kusadasi cruise terminal and the fun began! We had 2 families with 6 boys between us ranging from age 6 - 13. Tugrul was able to connect with each one of them and provided us with an appropriate level of information to keep their attention. He was aware that we didn't want a long drawn out tour and that the heat and time spent walking around would drive the kids crazy. The tour length was well timed at Ephesus. He has a wealth of knowledge on the area and a great sense of humour. He gave us several options to stop at before the day so we opted for a pottery shop and a carpet shop where we had a beautiful lunch Not included but well priced) and they were quite happy for the kids to roll around and wrestle on the $20,000 carpets....I was terrified! Maybe they knew I was a sucker for a turkish carpet and would be walking out with one (after they put away the $20k one!). I wouldn't stop there unless you intend to buy as there is a lot of pressure, but an interesting experience if you're up for it! We had been to turkey before and knew I wasn't leaving empty handed. We had a great day with Tugrul, the kids all remember him fondly. We highly recommend his tours.
