AMAZING Ephesus Kusadasi Tour with Turgul

Reviewed July 31, 2016
Our tour of Kusadasi was truly an unforgettable experience and was mostly because of a very well run tour.

Turgul was our tour guide and he shared profound and interesting knowledge of the various areas and localities we visited. His personality and passion welcomes you to be part of an authentic and enjoyable journey allowing you to be immersed in the local culture. Kusadasi and all its beauty lingers on in our minds long after the visit.

We experienced the services of several tour guides during our 3 week trip in Europe and Turgul is one of he standout guides which we not only recommend but would also happily use again.

Ephesus Kusadasi Tour
Reviewed July 30, 2016
My family and I visited the beautiful Kusadasi. We had a wonderful tour with our guide Tugrul, who explained all the wonderful things that Kusadasi had to offer.

We all enjoyed the tour in his airconditioned van, which was comfortable and clean. A very friendly guide who spoke excellent English.

We will definitely come back again

Tugrul's the best!

Reviewed July 5, 2016
Tugrul led a group of eight of us through Ephesus and everyone was thrilled with the experience. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and an expert at working around the crowds to ensure the best possible experience. He guided us through the museum as well as Ephesus and the Terrace Houses, which are definitely worth the extra admission fee. The day also included lunch and a presentation at a a carpet co-op. Be sure to wear good walking shoes, though, as the ground is uneven and you do a lot of walking. At the end of the day my fit band said I'd walked 6.2 miles!

Pure Excellence
Reviewed July 4, 2016
This was one of the best tours we have done (and we have done many different tours around the world). Tugrul is extremely professional and highly knowledgeable. We were very unsure about how to tour Ephesus, given that we were there just for the day and did not want to visit rug factories or leather shops. Tugrul assured us that we could tailor the tour to our liking and we would not have to go shopping (like many of the other tour groups). We had a wonderful time - a good pace and learned so much about this amazing part of the world. The lunch was fantastic. There is no need to have any doubts about Ephesus - just go with Tugrul!

Outstanding Tour of Ephesus

Reviewed July 2, 2016
Having been to Ephesus now for the third time, I didn't look forward much to this return visit but, at the last minute, joined a tour arranged by a fellow traveler on our cruise. I was very pleasantly surprised to be completely satisfied with our outstanding tour led by "Toro" our guide (and company owner, I believe). His extensive knowledge of the historical details of this landmark site made Ephesus "come alive" once more! The tour included the Terrace Houses which had been restored and expanded since my last visit and this "extra" is a highly recommended add-on to the basic admission ticket. We also had an informative lunch stop at a local (and truly authentic) Turkish carpet manufacturer's facility. The food was a locally homemade Turkish spread and delicious. The owner of the facility gave us an informative tour describing all the stages of authentic double knot Turkish rug fabrication and there was absolutely NO pressure to buy any of his rugs but, for anyone in the market, this would have been a wonderful place to pick up an amazing carpet.

According to Toro, Turkish tourism is down by 90% due to world conditions (and not helped by the recent bombing in Istanbul). The one bright spot for Turkey seems to still be the cruise ship tourist from Kusadasi. We felt completely safe while there. Additionally, in my opinion, the price for our tour was very reasonable for our small group. All in all, we had a wonderful day with our guide and I would HIGHLY recommend his company for any kind of tour in this area.

Wonderful experience for abled and disabled
Reviewed July 2, 2016

Tugrul did a terrific job of navigating the area and knew exactly where my husband's wheelchair could go with the least amount of challenges. It was amazing that my husband could see what he saw. Tugrul was hands-on the whole time helping my husband navigate through the cobblestones and ruins. (and by helping I mean pushed him the whole time! ) Always a smile on his face and a willingness to help!

Tugrul is very very knowledgeable and presents himself well. He's got the kind of personality where you feel like you are on vacation with an old friend. The icing on the cake was that on the ride up and back he not only told us about the areas we were driving through but also came and sat with us in the back so that we could hear every word. Every other tour guide that we had on our vacation sat in the front with the driver. It was hard for a disabled person sitting in the back to hear. There is no problem hearing Tugrul.
I did a lot of research for accessible tours and I have to say this is stellar and you would not go wrong by hiring him.

You won't go wrong with Tugrul

Reviewed July 2, 2016
Tugrul was the absolute perfect tour guide for us. He was extremely knowledgeable and really knew how to navigate through. Additionally his personality is just so great that you feel like you are on vacation with an old friend and not a tour guide that you just met.
I highly recommend him, as does my entire family.
