fantastic guide

We booked Tugrul for 3 days - to Pergamon, Ephesus and Pakkumale. My husband commented that he was a walking encyclopedia of fun historical facts! Aside from his knowledge, he was also a wonderful and attentive guide, entertaining our 8 year old who got to sing in the middle of an ancient amphitheater to test out the acoustics and bringing along towels and bathing trunks for wading in Pakkumale. He even got a seafood restaurant to grill fish that we bought at a local market! He's the best guide for your visit in Turkey!

We spent two days with Tugrul. Wish we had hired him for our 3d day
Reviewed December 12, 2015

Tugrul was our guide for two days in the Izmir area last spring. He took us to Pamukkale during our first day with him and to Pergamon the second. He was personable, knowledgeable, enthusiastic about his country, concerned about our comfort and well-being, easy to spend the day with. We did not hire him to be our guide in Ephesus and wish we had. One area for improvement: while Tugrul's driver was also capable and personable, his vehicle was not the most comfortable. This was important because the distances traveled were far and we were in the vehicle for a long time.
