Touring Ephesus in a wheelchair! Reviewed November 10, 2015 We toured Ephesus with Turgul Sokmen on October 15, 2015 and highly recommend you do the same! The van used for the two of us was modern, clean and equipped with a power lift that enabled Juanita to remain in her wheelchair while we toured. The driver provided fast and courteous service in assisting with the wheelchair at each of our several stops. Turgul is very knowledgable, well spoken and used impeccable English throughout the day. There was a large map posted in the front of the van which he used to great advantage in explaining where we were and the history of the area. Finally, he provided information before we contracted to take the tour that made it clear what portion of the buildings and grounds would be viewable from a wheelchair and his honesty was appreciated. Turgul also informed us that entrance fees would be waived if we brought the proper documentation regarding the medical need for using a wheelchair. Again, this useful information was appreciated. His personality made us feel like we were old friends! The best tour on any we've ever taken!!

Best private tour ever Reviewed May 19, 2015 We had been to Ephesus on three prior trips and were looking for something different. I contacted Tugul Sokemen and we came up with an all day itinerary that included Didema, Priene and Miletus. He met us on time and led us to a clean and modern van where his driver then whisked us off. On the journey he provided and excellent narrative complete with easy to view maps. He was with us the entire time and patiently described what we saw and explained its context in history. Unlike a guide we used on a prior trip from another company his delivery was fresh and tailored to our interests. After a wonderful full day of visiting these ancient sites we went to a great authentic Turkish restaurant where along with a beautiful selection of tasty vegetable we selected some lamb chops and Adana kebab that were then grilled and served. We will definitely use his amiable and expert services the next time we return to Kusadasi |
